Rails for the age of agent‑built software.

Agents now write a growing share of the code that ships. Sourceplane builds the platforms that keep it coherent: the context, golden paths and guardrails a great engineering organisation spends years building, for any team from its first repository.

Our mission

Give every team, and every agent beside it, the discipline of a great engineering organisation from day one.

Catalog, pipelines, environments, policy, access: most teams spend months building platform before a customer sees anything, or skip it and pay later. As agents take on more of the work, that gap costs more every week.

We build the products that close it, and we run our own company on them.

Agentic developer portal

Orunbase

Every engineer. Every agent. One set of rails.

Orunbase gives a team the platform a great engineering organisation spends years building: a catalog of every service and its owner, golden paths from idea to production, and guardrails that hold for every human and every agent action, fully audited.

  • Product context in every agent session: services, owners, dependencies and decisions
  • Golden paths and production-ready baselines, live on Cloudflare in minutes
  • Deploy rules, data boundaries and access scopes declared once, applied everywhere

Open-source intent compiler

orun

Platform discipline as code.

orun is the engine underneath Orunbase. Teams declare their platform as intent next to their code, and orun compiles it into a deterministic plan and converges every commit toward it. It runs inside your CI; Orunbase is the backend it talks to.

Public directory of open builds

openproduct.live

Where open builds are found.

openproduct.live is a public home for products built in the open. Makers list what they build from public Orunbase workspaces; anyone can browse listings, people, threads, topics, launches and a weekly digest without signing in.

What we believe

Software stays coherent when the platform carries the context.

  1. 01

    Context before code

Agents rarely fail at writing code. They fail because nothing told them what the system expects: who owns a service, what depends on it, which decisions are settled. We put that context in every session.

  2. 02

The right path is the fast path

Guardrails hold when following them is quicker than going around them. Golden paths arrive with CI, policy and deploys already wired, for people and agents alike.

  3. 03

    Declared, then verified

A platform should be written down as intent beside the code and checked on every commit, not kept in a wiki that drifts the week after it is written.

  4. 04

    Built in the open

orun is open source, openproduct.live is a public directory of open builds, and this website is built and deployed by our own tools.
